AbstractTo facilitate the management of the complex and vast distribution networkthe East District Power Distribution Division of Guangzhou Power Supply BranchGPG established a distribution network management information system based on Arcinfo platform of GIS geographical information systemtechnique. This paper describes the objectiveconfigurationstructure and technical features of the systemand presents the key technical problems needing attention during its construction.
