英语试卷二
参考作文
Private cars are no longer a sign of luxury in most cities in China. More and more families could afford at least one private car, which make their lives more convenient and wonderful. Therefore the number of cars on road keeps increasing year by year.
This trend is undoubtedly a positive sign of a wealthier population. Yet the side effects of it appear at the same time. The cities are becoming more crowded, the air is seriously polluted and the noise is very disturbing.
The government should persuade people to choose public transportation and special measures could be taken to control the amount of cars on road. After all, convenience should not be realized by destroying the environment people live in. (121 words)
